The Flying Bull is a friendly pub and restaurant conveniently located in the delightful village of Rake and close to all the local amenities and attractions that this delightful part of Hampshire has to offer.
We have a cosy bar, with a real fire in winter, offering real ales, lagers, spirits and wines in a friendly atmosphere and the local do not bite very often.
There is also an attractive bright airy restaurant offering an extensive menu of freshly prepared food lunchtimes from 12 until 2:30 and evenings from 6:30 until 9:30 everyday at competitive prices.
If the weather is good we have a large and very attractive beer garden very well maintained and stocked with award wining planting.
On a summers evening if the weather is good we often have hot air balloons launching from the large field we have at the rear of the pub.
When the weather is not so good we have a cosy smoking area well screened and equipped with heaters and even blankets if you require.
The bedrooms are very comfortable in a selection of twin double and family. All room are tastefully decorated, attractively equipped with en-suite bath or shower, heating, alarm clock, television, hairdryer and complimentary tea/coffee making facilities. Included is a full English breakfast or a lighter continental style if you prefer.

We are located on the B2070 in the village of Rake which is about 3 miles from Liphook and 5 miles from Petersfield.
We are close to the A3 and can be reached southbound by taking the Liphook exit and then following the signs for Peterfield using the B2070.
Northbound take the Midhurst exit and remain on the B2070 until reaching the village of Rake.
Opening Times: Open everyday from 11 am until late with food served from 12 noon until 2:30 and again from 6:30 until 9:30.
